What do a bunch of creative types do when we are sitting on the sidelines due to Covid? Well, we get together and we make a styled shoot of our dreams, that's all. I was SO excited when we were approached by Tara of Scheme Events, in collaboration with Cactus Collective Weddings to do a styled shoot at the Nelson Ghost Town at the old El Dorado Mine. We were obsessed with the new chapel the owners of the property built there and we had to (HAD TO!) adorn it with a cascading garland of flowers in the shades of the desert sky.

And there's no better season in the desert than fall. Despite the jumping cactus and possible scorpion encounters, being out in the middle of the desert just before sunset is pretty dreamy. Especially when everyone is there to create so much beauty. And it didn't hurt that our "models" are a real life, in love, married couple.. and it shows. How cute are they?
